THE REV ART SHOP
Inspired by Black Love, Art, Culture

About The Rev
Welcome to The Rev, where dreams and revolution converge. Inspired by the Haitian Creole word for dream and short for revolution, The Rev is a celebration of Black culture, history, and activism.
Based in Troy, NY, The Rev is the collaborative vision of D. Colin, a multidisciplinary artist, and Robert Cooper, a photographer. Creative partners and married co-founders, we’ve spent years vending side by side, sharing our passion for art and storytelling. Now, we’ve united our brands into one space to bring you a curated collection of art and merchandise infused with love, creativity, and culture.
Our shop offers a range of handmade items—from vibrant paintings and striking photography to wearable art and thoughtful keepsakes. Every piece reflects our deep roots in the African diaspora, our commitment to community, and our shared dream of sparking joy and inspiration through creativity.
The Rev isn’t just a shop—it’s the beginning of something bigger. Our dream is to one day open a storefront where art meets community: a welcoming space for exhibitions, workshops, creative co-working, and cultural programming. We envision a haven for learning, inspiration, and connection—a place where creativity thrives and stories are shared.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your support helps us keep dreaming, creating, and building a revolution of love, art, and culture.
With gratitude,
D. Colin & Robert Cooper
